Painting My Future

Christian Mentorship for Students Through Visual Art

Your Subtitle text

Ready to make a difference?

Our mission is to teach the Gospel to artistically talented students through after-school art programs where they have the opportunity to develop their God-given talents (painting, drawing, and sculpting).  Through this program these students generate an extensive portfolio for college-entrance, scholarships, and for exhibition in art shows and galleries.

We are seeking Christian artists/art instructors who will:

  • Assume a leadership role in this program,
  • Take this on for the remainder of the school year,
  • Develop a curriculum,
  • Mentor students to develop their Christianity and artistic skills and,
  • Work with students and selected art galleries on an end-of-the-year showing of their work!

Our vision comes from Matthew 25:14-30 - The Lord's parable of the talents.

Our founder, Christine Baker, received a vision from God for this program.  "Painting My Future"  was that vision.  It is this organization's vision to give students and young adults the opportunity to develop their God-given talents.

Through all these things combined, the kids can make manifest what God has placed in them and learn to use that as currency to improve their lives and the lives of those around them.

For some of these kids, this may be their one chance to escape poverty and their troubled neighborhood!
